The Donington Deer Park

The hotel owns the nearby Donington Deer Park, and Venison is always featured on our menu, as well as being available for sale in frozen take-home packs (sausages, steaks, or joints).

Tours of the Deer Park can be arranged for parties of 15 to 20 people. The park has one of the largest collections of ancient oak trees in the country, including specimens over 900 years old. Other features include an Ice House, a monument to Lady Maud Hastings, whose right hand was buried there, and one of the finest views in England.
