Welcome to Donington Park Farmhouse, your premier destination for christening and baby naming celebrations in the East Midlands. Nestled amidst the stunning countryside of the Derbyshire Leicestershire border, our original farm offers authentic charm and industrial chic in a rural setting. Our three stunning converted spaces, catering services and friendly professional team makes us the best location to host your day and create cherished memories.
The Stackyard
The Stackyard is our indoor-outdoor party venue, ideal for up to 80 guests in winter and 120 in summer. The stunning interior and original oak beams are complimented by a large garden with year-round flowers, silver birch trees and festoon lighting.
The Barn
The Barn is a large and versatile collection of rooms, including our 300-year-old Threshing Barn, all restored to preserve their stunning original features. The Barn is suitable for 50 to 300 people, with the ability to section areas off to suit the guest number. The Barn Courtyard is a beautiful square garden and suntrap with wisteria, lavender, lollipop topiary trees and pretty festoon lighting.
The Farmhouse
Ideal for intimate events of fewer than 40 people, the farmhouse has original oak wall panelling, stunning views of the local countryside and two cosy log fires.
Baby Naming Ceremonies
You may simply wish to raise and glass and celebrate your new baby with your friends and family. However, if you wish to incorporate a secular ceremony, we are lucky to know some amazing local Celebrants who you can trust to deliver just that.

Tucked away in the hamlet of Isley Walton, this tiny ancient Church is ideal for up to 50 guests and enjoys a stunning and quaint location.
St Michael with St Mary’s Church, Melbourne
With it’s picturesque stone columns and 12 bells, Melbourne Parish Church is located next to the stunning Melbourne Pool and offers a beautiful location for a Church of England Christening.
St Mary and St Hardulph Priory Church, Breedon on the Hill
Visible from Donington Park Farmhouse, the historic Breedon Priory Church has served the local community for over 1200 years. A stunning location above Breedon Hill quarry.
Melbourne Catholic Church
Just 5 minutes’ drive from Donington Park Farmhouse, Melbourne’s beautiful red-brick Catholic Church is within easy reach.
