Yes. Donington Park Farmhouse has 20 beautiful bedrooms within it’s grounds, available to event guests and group bookings.
For evening parties in the Stackyard, there is no venue hire! There is just a minimum spend on pre-arranged food and drink. See the menu for more information.
All our catering is in-house and our menus change regularly. Have a look at our menus, and if you are looking for something which doesn’t feature, just let us know!
Yes, we’re always happy to cut and serve a cake free of charge, if we are catering for you. (Your cake must not contain fresh cream, cheese or mascarpone or anything else which needs to be kept in the fridge – but any professional cake maker should know that!).

Our two main party venue spaces are the Barn and the Stackyard, but we can also host small intimate events like dinner parties in our Hitching Room, and Farmhouse Dining Room.
Yes – both venues – the Barn and the Stackyard have their own private courtyard gardens, with festoon lighting and plenty of outdoor seating. Both gardens are southfacing for day-long sunshine!
We sometimes offer dry hire, but usually only at short notice. We venue is designed with catering in mind and our brilliant in-house chefs, and bar team are ready to help make your event a great success without breaking the bank.
No. Our stunning Barn Venue is dedicated to Weddings. Wedding require extensive planning and on-the-day management, which is not the case for Stackyard Evening Parties.
We can host simple post-elopement evening parties in the Stackyard, which are in no way the same as a wedding reception. There is no event coordination, no access to the grounds for photographs and we would not categorise or call the event a wedding. This might sound severe, but we need to manage expectations about the service and product offered.
In the Stackyard, you can use one of our excellent in-house DJs, or put you own music on our Bluetooth PA system. Unamplified live music (up to 3-piece band without drums) is fine in the stackyard too. In the Barn you can bring in any band or DJ, as the sound is more contained.
Yes children and babies are very welcome, and we have highchairs and changing facilities.
Generally, the bar shuts at midnight and music and dancing is until 12:30am. Plenty late enough for a proper party
Yes, both the Barn and Stackyard have simple bluebooth PA systems which can be used to play background music or your own party playlist.
Yes, both the Barn and the Stackyard have brilliant dancefloor areas. What else would you expect from a party venue!
We have a list of recommended suppliers who know the venue well, but you can use whoever you like.
Both the Barn and Stackyard have elements of permanent decoration which you will see when you look around, including fairy lights inside and stunning festoon lights outside. You are welcome to add decoration yourself or bring in a stylist.
As a rustic and original venue, with buildings which are 350 years old, we do have a few decoration rules. Absolutely no candles, naked flames or anything highly flammable. Decoration should be free-standing or hung but cannot be attached to
the walls (no bluetack, pins, staples).
Yes, Donington Park Farmhouse is a fully accessible events venue, catering for those with impaired mobility. We have several ground floor bedrooms, including a fully wheelchair accessible bedroom
There is plenty of free on-site parking for event guests where cars can be left overnight by arrangement.
