With a working farm and Deer Park within the Estate, we’re proud of our “Farm to Fork” approach, where much of our menu is raised or grown on-site, or sourced locally for maximum quality and traceability.

Venison from the Estate’s parkland deer herd takes pride of place on our wedding menus. We make our own venison sausages, joints, burgers, and delicious smoked venison – all butchered in-house at our own 5-star rated facility. Genuine provenance and zero food miles!

We believe that meals are best shared, so we offer a relaxed and social dining experience in a truly unique setting. From sizzling BBQ feasts to hog roasts, vegetarian buffets and everything in between. You and your guests can watch the magic unfold in our open kitchen, the Granary.

Something for Everyone

Ensuring that everyone at the table is well-fed is something we strive for at Donington Park Farmhouse. Whether you’re vegetarian, vegan, or have particular preferences or intolerances, we’ve got you covered. Our excellent in-house chefs are more than happy to create bespoke menus that suit you and your guests, whether that’s centred around a specific cuisine, favourite dish, or dietary preference.

Food & Drink

All our food is cooked by our talented in-house chefs. We love working with couples to plan tailored menus that really suit them, for instance an All Vegetarian Wedding Menu or Culturally Themed Wedding Menu.

Our venison is skilfully butchered on-site and features on our wedding menus. Our herd of 350 wild Red and Fallow Deer freely roam our ancient parkland. The deer are never handled and are free from antibiotics and chemical inputs, making our venison an incredibly natural and high-welfare meat. Our menus feature homemade venison sausages, pan-fried loin, home-smoked sliced venison, venison pies and more, all made on-site, with zero food miles.

We sometimes hold ticketed menu tasting events, where our couples can sample the menus. There are other opportunities to sample of our food, for instance Sundays Lunches, which we hold through the winter. Events coming up at Donington Park Farmhouse.

Of course we do – all of the information is requested by your wedding coordinator, who can ensure that the catering is suitable for all of your guests.

Wedding breakfast is the traditional name for the main sit down meal you enjoy with your guests on the day of your wedding. Even though it’s served in the afternoon, it is called the Wedding Breakfast, because it is your first meal as a married couple! There are no cereals or crumpets!

Amongst our many drinks packages is the option to BYO wine and pay corkage. (Some venues offer free corkage but expect to pay a higher venue hire to offset it!). Have a look at our Wedding Food and Drink menus

We have a variety of great value drinks packages or can create your own bespoke drinks package with whatever you have in mind. From an Aperol Spitriz drinks reception, to Espresso Martinis after the Wedding meal, we’ve got you covered.

The prices at the bar are affordable and you can see them when you come to view the venue. Our bar is card-only.

Yes, our beautiful log cake stands are cut from estate timber. There is no charge for us to display, cut and serve your cake for you. We generally recommend cutting the wedding cake around 7pm, so it can be served with your evening food.

Yes. As we are the exclusive in-house caterer, we provide all the crockery, cutlery, glasswear and linen napkins at no additional charge. Our stunning Oak tables don’t need table linen, but we can hire this for you if you would like.
