Our magical venue benefits from great transport links for the Derby, Nottingham and Leicester area (10 minutes from the M1). 80% of the UK is within a 2-hour drive and we’ve very close to East Midlands Airport and East Midlands Parkway Train Station.

Our Threshing Barn complex is a great venue for large Christmas Parties

Up to 150 people for a formal 2 or 3 course meal
Up to 250 people for a party, dining casually

The Stack Yard is perfect for smaller parties of 20 – 100 people

Up to 50 people for a formal 2 or 3 course meal
Up to 100 people for a party, dining casually

Both Venues benefit from –

3 course menu options including traditional Christmas Fayre, finished off with mince pies and coffee
Party food options including delicious Hog Roasts, Cheese Boards and BBQs
We’ll provide a Christmas tree, decorations and Crackers on the table. Add decorations or theme the venue if you wish.
A well stocked and fully staffed bar
Drinks packages or the option of a token system or free bar
Separate areas for dining, dancing and relaxing at the bar
A large dance-floor area (enough space for a barn dance or ceilidh)
The option to use our Resident DJ for an additional cost

Do we have exclusive use of the venue?

Yes. There are areas of the hotel and grounds which are public but our self-contained venues will be exclusive to you and your guests.

Can we decorate the space?

Yes. We’ll provide a Christmas tree, crackers and some decorations but you’re welcome to add as much as you like or even bring in professional decorators.

Can we provide our own entertainment?

Yes. We recommend our resident DJ but you’re welcome to bring your own DJ or band instead. Or play your own iPod playlist through our PA system for a small hire fee.
