The Original Barn Wedding Venue
We’ve been hosting weddings since 1984, making us, we think, the UK’s first barn wedding venue. Our 18th-century Threshing Barn retains all its original features, lending it plenty of character, and the old Pig Sties, now converted into a dining space, add historic charm.

Do you offer set packages?
Yes, we offer a range of wedding packages designed to make planning easier. Our packages typically include venue hire, catering, and coordination support, with options to add extras like additional guests or evening food. We’re also happy to tailor things to suit your day – just get in touch and we’ll put together a quote based on what you’re looking for.
What accommodation do you offer?
The venue has 20 bedrooms on-site, spread across the Farmhouse, Courtyard, and our newly converted Stables. Five bedrooms are included with exclusive venue hire, and the remaining 15 can be booked at discounted rates for your guests. It’s perfect for a relaxed wedding weekend without anyone needing to rush off.
Who is the local registrar for ceremonies?
What time does Barn close?
Music and dancing in the Threshing Barn runs until midnight, with the bar closing at 12:30am. After that, guests are welcome to continue the celebrations more quietly in the courtyard or head to bed in our on-site accommodation. Being in the countryside means we can enjoy the evening without disturbing neighbours.
How many guests can the venue accommodate?
The Barn can seat up to 150 guests for a formal wedding breakfast, or for a casual food service we have cater for up to 300, which is also our evening capacity. The venue is also well suited to smaller guest numbers; our flexible spaces mean we can work with a range of party sizes.
