We are currently working on an availability calendar online, but in the meantime, if you drop us a message or give us a ring, we’ll happily check the dates you’ve got in mind. Popular weekends do get snapped up quickly, so it’s always worth reaching out sooner rather than later.
Yes – after seeing the venue you can hold a wedding date for 1 week before committing. There’s no obligation to proceed and it gives you time to check with key suppliers and family.
When you book with us, the Barn is yours for the day. That includes the Hitching Room, Pig Sties, Granary, Bar Area, Stunning Courtyard Garden and the Threshing Barn. You also have use of the woods and farmland for photos in our grounds. A dedicated co-ordinator, large fully staffed bar and our delicious in-house catering
Every wedding day is different, and we like to give as much choice as possible, whilst ensuring the venue is affordable for different budgets. Learn more about our wedding venue packages & pricing.
Our wedding venue prices are transparent, fair and affordable. VAT is included in all quoted prices and there are no additional fees.
The initial payment to secure your date at Donington Park Farmhouse is just £1,000 – or the full barn hire if your wedding is less than a year away. The venue hire needs to be paid by 12 months before. We then require a £1000 payment at each 6 and 3 months before, and the final balance is payable 1 month before the wedding.
We are a fully insured wedding and events venue, with £10m public liability insurance.
We ask all our couples to take out wedding insurance, to help protect against unforeseen events. Wedding insurance is very affordable and many venues require it. It usually covers family illness, supplier failure and travel disruption.
Although there could be other things happening within our large 25-acre grounds, the Barn complex and Courtyard Garden are exclusive-use; only you and your guests will be there. The Barn complex includes all our wedding reception and ceremony rooms: The Hitching Room, Pig Sties, Granary, Bar Area and Threshing Barn). You have use of the full 25-acre grounds for photography, but this is not part of the exclusive-use area.
If you book all 20 bedrooms, our on-site wedding accommodation, then it will only be your guests on-site overnight, and you will be able to extend the celebrations into the next day, enjoying breakfast with your guests.
Our staff will gather together your decoration at the end of the night. We ask that you and your suppliers collect these by 9am the day after your wedding.
Our cancellation policy is laid out, along with other important details in the wedding contract. This agreement will be sent to you ahead of a welcome call, where we can answer any questions about the contract and cancellation terms.
We’ve put together a list of brilliant local suppliers we know and trust. You’re not tied to them though – it’s just there if you’d like some recommendations.
Yes, you’ll have one of our amazing coordinators by your side. Our wedding coordinator will take the stress out of the day, making sure it flows smoothly, from guest arrival, through to ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening party. The coordinator makes sure everything discussed in the planning stages happens on the day, so that you can focus on enjoying yourself with your nearest and dearest.
Twilight wedding packages are something we are currently working on. Get in touch if you’re eager to plan something like this.
